Inaugural Australian Youth Water Polo Championships - Brisbane January 2019

Entries have opened for the inaugural Australian Youth Water Polo Championships that will be held in Brisbane from 12-24 January 2019.

Launched earlier this year, the new event will bring together around 190 teams to contest the 12&U, 14&U, 16&U and 18&U Championship events across a two-week festival of water polo. This will replace the normal "Easter Nationals for U14's and U18's" and  the up and coming "October U16's" and combine them into one BIG Youth Festival for 2019.

Triton need to nominate teams by 9th September 2018, so while we understand we are in the depths of Winter Sport....we need to know who and if we have numbers to nominate travelling team/s  for these Youth Championships.  Please register your interest by emailing joberman09@hotmail.com (Girls) or D.Woodhouse@curtin.edu.au (Boys).  If we don't have enough interest to field a TRITON only Team we will look to combine with another club to make a composite side, like we have in the past - BUT we need to know who is interested ASAP.

The Committee are also looking for someone who may have experience/ interest in organising group Travel plans. We need someone to assist us in planning flights/ accom for the festival....if you are interested in taking on this little project for the Club please contact Glenn Townsend our President on gtownsend@austim.com.au.
